Welcome to VnV Stable's home on the web for 2011. 2011 marks VnV's 20th anniversary. I am Samantha Kroese, owner and manager of all things VnV.

I was born in 1981. I have been horse crazy since I was born. My first Breyers were given to me in 1985. I was four years old and my grand parents gave me the Special Run Mustang Family from JcPenneys that year. I still have them, though they have weathered much love and play and have many scars to prove it.

I didn't want dolls or other normal girl toys. I wanted horses. I had a very large collection of My Little Ponies and various other horse shaped objects.

Then in 1990 I got a Breyer that had an offer for a free issue of Breyer's magazine, JAH. Up until this point my Breyers were just toys, special ones but I had no idea you could do more with them. Then the JAH came and opened the world for me. 1991 marked my first year as a serious model horse collector. I did everything I could. Repainted/Remade/Rehaired. Made tack, including elaborate Arabian costumes. If it was a part of the hobby I was there doing it as much as I could.

I was not well off and Breyers were incredibly expensive to me. But I didn't let that get me down, I was determined to have a lot of them. I taught myself how to paint and how to make tack that people would trade for. Most of my collection was traded for (thank you everyone who's traded to me over the years!). So as you look through my website I'd like you to remember one thing:

VnV Stables started as one little girl with one tiny set of Breyers and a big dream. It took a lot of determination and work to get where I am and I don't take it for granted for one moment. And of course none of it would be possible without God's help and guidance.

People always told me I was crazy. I would never have a big huge collection because they simply weren't for people like me. I would never own the real black Arabian stallion I knew I would own since I was old enough to know that. Visit my real pets page to see my 'dream' come true.

VnV Stables maintains a massive online sire and dam listing for model horses. I currently have well over 1000 sires and dams avaiable in many different breeds. In 2010 I bred over 400 foals. Our breedings are free through email. We have champion horses and only the best real and model horse bloodlines. If you need parents for your models please take a look at our S/D list.

VnV Studios is celebrating it's 20th year of creating champion model horses. I offer very affordable model painting. I've been hand painting in acrylics for 20 years now. I've painted many many champion models over the years. If you're looking for a new paintjob for one of your models please take a look at my repainting services. Note: I do not remake, resculpt, reposition, rehair. I only paint. My books are currently opened to a limited number of orders a month.

Every horse that lives at VnV is part of our showstring. We have over 1000 models. For our 20th anniversary I decided to put a page together for my champion horses, something I have never done before. I've come a long way from cloth backgrounds and horses on shelves and never placing higher than 10th in a photo show.

I am also the proud owner of my dream horse, my miracle. My VERY OWN Black Stallion. RAWisper N Black (Wisper) a pure black registered Arabian stallion. The horse I have ALWAYS known I would own and everyone told me I wouldn't. To visit Wisper's website click the button above.

I also belong to a calico queen cat, Cali and have two rats who are my best friends.

It has come to my attention that people are stealing my photos from my website and claiming them for their own. If you see any photo from this website on any other website without full credit given to me and a note I gave them permission then it is STOLEN. Obviously these people can't read the copyright notice posted on every single one of my pages. My photos are NOT to be used and I will go after anyone using them to the fullest extent of the law. It is a crime to take my photos from my website and claim them for your own. It is against the LAW. Anyone doing it is breaking the LAW.

Especially my photos with the storm backdrop or the fence with the mountains and clouds. These are both photos I took personally and have in my possession and no one else in the world could possibly have them.

These two backdrops. No one else in the world has them or the models in front of them. Please do not fall for any scammer claiming otherwise.
